Haus Berlin

Haus Berlin is a group exhibition curated by Perennial Art, showing artists from Germany, Japan, The Netherlands, Scotland and Spain. The exhibition explores a diverse range of interpretations on the theme 'house'. My drawing 'Inverleith', is my homage to classic folk horror.

400 Women

400 Women is a conceptual installation project by artist Tamsyn Challenger utilising a mass collaboration with nearly 200 artists in response to the murders of women in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

I was one of the artist's selected for this project and created a portrait of Violeta Mabel.
400 Women was first shown in London at the Shoreditch Town Hall basement recieving acclaimed reviews and was on Newsnight Review.
This year as part of Edinburgh's Art Festival, 400 Women is shown in Canongate Venture, a former school. I feel very honoured to be part of this show.

TV promo

One of my drawings is featured on the TV promo for, Arts Karlsruhe, with Gallery Wolfram Volker, Berlin. Made by the German television sender SWR.de for the 'Landesschau KulTour' programme, it shows gallery owner Wolfram himself discussing the work. Super!

Art Karlsruhe

I really enjoyed the contemporary art fair, Art Karlsruhe, in south west Germany. With over 200 galleries it is one of the biggest art fairs in Germany. I met some very interesting people including Ute Litzkow and Malgosia Jankowska who are also represented by Wolfram Voelker Gallery, Berlin.

The fool is one of the cards from the Tarot deck and represents the spirit in humankind in search of experience. At the moment I am in the process of creating a new body of work that explores my ideas on this mystical character. I'll keep you posted.
